Toastmasters: Building a New World, Together

I am a candidate for 2nd Vice President of Toastmasters International because I believe in this organization, and I have a vision for its future. I wear my Toastmasters pin with pride!

This has been a year of great experiences for me leading up to the International Convention in 2009. I have learned so much from you. I have listened to your views, we have shared our dreams and I understood your vision of our organization. With the changes that Toastmasters is undertaking, we will continue to grow and serve. We still need an adaptable organization led by nimble leaders. I believe I can lead Toastmasters to that goal.

What is your dream for Toastmasters International? In your mind’s eye, do you see an organization that grows substantially every year? One that keeps dues low while serving the needs of clubs? Is it an international organization with a thriving membership on every continent? “Are young people clamoring to join?”

Toastmasters: Building a new world together. Toastmasters have chosen a path of change. That change will require leaders who have managed change and succeeded with change. Ralph Smedley forged an organization that brought change. I will work with you to build our future as we are in touch with our history.

I look forward to talking with you soon about my experiences and qualifications. I want to share with you my vision and how we can continue building Toastmasters. Explore and learn from my web site. I invite you to visit often as this site will be built upon my conversations with you.

Thank you for all your service to our organization. You make a difference for so many people and those you serve in turn make a difference for a multitude. The servant leader such as you is the key to the success of Toastmasters. From the club to the district and to all those who serve at the International level, we come together create a team of success. We wear the pin of Toastmasters with pride.

I offer myself to Toastmasters: To serve. To dream. And to build. Will you proudly wear your pin and stand with me?
